Post 1:
Research Officer, Q41
Contract (2 years) - 4 Vacancies

Plant Tissue Culture - 1 post
- To lead projects on the propagation and supply of plant materials.
- To carry out collection of plant samples for plant propagation
- To perform routine vegetative propagation works, carry out growth and production analysis of targeted plants
- To monitor the progress of propagation and preparation of routine planting stocks
Algae - 1 post
- To carry out routine analysis, operate and maintain the algae cultivation facility
- To cultivate algae both indoors & outdoors and conduct algae molecular identification
- To carry out sampling, collection, screening and evaluation of targeted microalgae
- To carry out sample preparation for collaborative research and analysis
Extraction - 1 post
- To lead projects on extraction, fraction and chemical characterization of natural products
- To carry out method development of extraction and fractionation of targeted plants
- To organize the development of a standardized extract of the targeted plants
- To develop monograph of the targeted plants
Analytical Chemistry - 1 post
- To carry out plant collection and processing for extraction
- To lead projects on the extraction, isolation, and fractionation of targeted plants or microbes
- To isolate and purify bioactive compounds for structural elucidation
- To develop monographs of the targeted plants
Qualification:
- The candidates must have a minimum Bachelor’s Degree (CGPA of 3.0 and above), preferably Master’s Degree (CGPA of 3.0 and above) or PhD in Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Plants Science, Plants Management, or equivalent qualification, recognised by the Government
- The candidates must have background knowledge and understanding of Research and Development
- The candidates must have excellent command of English language (spoken and written)
- Credit (at least Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu subject at SPM/SVM/MCE level
- Preferably 1-3 years of related work experience
- Must be physically fit, able to travel and work outdoors
Post 2:
Administrative Assistant, N19
Contract (2 years) - 1 Vacancy

- To receive and register new assets
- To ensure all assets and inventory are labelled
- To update asset register & masterlists and inventory location & ownership
- To assist in annual asset inspection, defect rectification, asset disposal, asset loss and write off processes
Qualification:
- The candidate must have a SPM/SVM/MCE or equivalent qualification, recognised by the Government
- The candidate must have background knowledge and understanding of asset and inventory management
- The candidate must have a good command of English language (spoken and written)
- Credit (at least Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu subject at SPM/SVM/MCE level
- Preferably 1-3 years of related work experience
Post 3:
Driver, H11
Contract (2 years) - 1 Vacancy

- To drive the CEO and officers for official meetings and events
- To ensure official documents are delivered to other agencies/departments promptly
- To collect parcels and official documents from other agencies/departments
- To maintain cleanliness of official vehicles and to ensure that these are in good working condition
Qualification:
- The candidate must have a PT3/PMR/SRP/LCE or equivalent qualification, recognised by the Government
- With at least class D driving license issued by Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan [except Probationary Driving License (P)]
- No criminal and reckless driving record
- The candidate must have a good command of English language (spoken and written)
- Credit (at least Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu subject at PT3/PMR/SRP/LCE level
- Preferably 1-3 years of related work experience
- Male only and physically fit
- Able to travel and work outside office hours
Post 4:
Pembantu Awam, Gardener, H11

- To maintain & improve landscape and ensure all plants are in good condition
- To assist in field collection for biodiversity garden, herbarium specimen and R&D programme
- To carry out inventory, propagation and maintenance of plants
- To be responsible for maintenance of planting facilities
Qualification:
- The candidates must have a PT3/PMR/SRP/LCE or equivalent qualification, recognised by the Government
- The candidates must have background knowledge and understanding on gardening and plant propagation
- The candidates must have a good command of English language (spoken and written)
- Credit (at least Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu subject at PT3/PMR/SRP/LCE level
- Preferably 1-3 years of related work experience
- Male only and physically fit
- Able to travel and work outdoors
