On 17 Septermber 2019, YB Dr Xavier Jayakumar, the Minister of Water, Land and Natural Resources and his delegates visited SBC. Upon arrival, he was welcomed by the Sarawak Biodiversity Council Chairman, YBhg Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wilson Baya Dandot and SBC staff.
A brief presentation was given to familirize the delegates on SBC's core functions and achievements. Future research collaborations were also discussed during the visit.
