Post 1: Administrative Officer, N12/N13
Jawatan Berasaskan Caruman (JBC) - 1 Vacancy
Salary Schedule: N12/N13

- To head the Innovation and Commercialisation Division of SBC
- To develop and execute comprehensive plans for business development, marketing, investments, collaborations, innovation and commercialisation, risk management, and safety and regulatory standards aligned to the goals and objectives of SBC and the Sarawak Bioindustrial Park (SBP)
- To ensure the physical development the SBP project is carried out on time and in accordance with the approved plans, circulars, rules, regulations, other related instructions
- To plan annual budget and manage utilisation of allocation for the project
Qualification:
- The candidate must have a Master’s Degree (CGPA of 3.0 and above) in Science, Project Management, Development Planning & Management, Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent qualification, recognised by the Government
- The candidate must have background knowledge and understanding of science and biotechnology
- The candidate must have an excellent command of English language (spoken and written)
- Credit (at least Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu subject at SPM/SVM/MCE level
- With at least 9 years (Grade N12) or 12 years (Grade N13) of experience related to business development and commercialisation of research work
Post 2: Administrative Officer (Procurement), N9

- To prepare specifications, process purchase requests and prepare all documentation in relation to procurement of supplies and services
- To manage all tenders/quotations processes and files for tender/quotation committee
- To verify and manage Contract Register of Supplies and Services
- To verify and manage Commitment Register
Qualification:
- The candidate must have a minimum Bachelor’s Degree (CGPA of 3.0 and above) in Administrative Science, Management, Business Administration or equivalent qualification, recognised by the Government
- The candidate must have background knowledge and understanding of procurement
- The candidate must have an excellent command of English language (spoken and written)
- Credit (at least Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu subject at SPM/SVM/MCE level
- Preferably 1-3 years of related work experience
Post 3: Research Officer (Algae), Q9

Post 4: Assistant Research Officer, Q5

Algae - 1 Post
- To carry out routine analysis, operate and maintain the algae cultivation facility
- To cultivate algae both indoors & outdoors and conduct algae molecular identification
- To carry out sampling, collection, screening and evaluation of targeted microalgae
- To carry out sample preparation for collaborative research and analysis
Ethno Biological Research - 1 Post
- To conduct field trips to collect and document specimens
- To assist in training communities in farming and extraction of essential oil
- To coordinate activities related to benefit sharing with communities
- To collect, propagate plants and prepare voucher specimen
Qualification:
- The candidate must have a minimum Diploma (CGPA of 3.0 and above) in Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Plants Science, Plants Management or equivalent qualification, recognised by the Government
- The candidate must have background knowledge and understanding of Research & Development
- The candidate must have a good command of English language (spoken and written)
- Credit (at least Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu subject at SPM/SVM/MCE level
- Preferably 1-3 years of related work experience
- Must be physically fit, able to travel and work outdoors
