SBC Biodiversity Day 2026: Acting locally for global impact
SBC Biodiversity Day 2026 is celebrated alongside the International Day for Biological Diversity, which takes place every year on 22nd May. This year’s theme, "Acting locally for global impact" marks a critical turning point in our journey. It focuses on taking the 23 global targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF) and turning them into real, tangible results right here in Sarawak.
Success in halting biodiversity loss depends on our ability to leverage the "vital tapestry of local action." At SBC, we believe that empowering our communities and showcasing local innovation is the key to shifting the needle toward a future of living in harmony with nature.
