The Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory focuses on the establishment of the protocol to mass propagate targeted plants for the supply of planting materials for research and development and eventually for domestication.

These are plants with known uses based on the information provided by indigenous communities participating in the Traditional Knowledge Documentation Programme, supported by interesting research and development discovery.  

The propagated plants will ensure that true-to-type progenies are obtained from the mother trees with desirable traits.
