BIODIVERSITY & BIOTECHNOLOGY SYMPOSIUM 2008

Abstract and Full Paper

The Organizing Committee invites participants to present their findings in the areas listed under the scientific programme either as oral or poster presentation (in English). The final allocation for poster presentation will be determined by the Organizing Committee.

Instruction to authors:
Abstract:

1. Text is to be prepared using MS Word and Times New Roman font.
2. Title: Bold, font size 12.
3. Author(s): Bold, size 11, underline presenter’s Name.
4. Address: Italics, font size 10, no abbreviation, indicates address of each author numerically in superscript, provide email address of corresponding author.
5. Text: Font size 12, one paragraph, no diagrams/figures/reference. Single spacing. Not more than 250 words.
6. Margin: 1.5” right hand border and 1” top bottom and left hand border.

Deadline: 31 August 2008

Full Paper :

1. Format: As above except with single line spacing.
2. Text: Maximum 2-4 printed pages and divided into Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgment and References. Tables and Figures should be included in the text.
3. References should be quoted in the text as name and year, and listed alphabetically in the references list using the Harvard referencing system. If reference is more than two authors, the name of the first author should be used followed by “et al.” and year. Example, Stein, L.D., et al. 2002. The Generic Genome Browser: a building block for a Model Organism System Database. Genome Res. 12(10): 1599-1610. Tables and Figures can be included in the
   text.
